Volunteer

We welcome volunteers who want to use their skills, interests, and resources to help our students learn. There are many ways to get involved!

Classroom Opportunities

Interested in chaperoning classroom field trips or sharing a talent or interest with your child’s classroom? To get involved in the classroom, reach out to your child’s teacher.

Schoolwide Opportunities

  • Participate in school & district events throughout the year such as Trunk or Treat, An Evening with EVCS or Family Heritage Night
  • Lead an afterschool club or sports team
  • Join your campus Community Association

EVCS has successfully accomplished more for our students with less state financial support. Our commitment to small class size naturally limits our income and makes fundraising that much more important.

To that end, we hold fundraising opportunities throughout the year, as well as ongoing “passive” campaigns like Box Tops for Education and Amazon Smile (search and select Elmwood Village Charter Schools at Amazon Smile). These fundraising events are vital to the life of our school and the success of our students.

About the EVCS CA

As the parent-teacher organization for each campus, the Elmwood Village Charter Schools’ Community Associations (CA) work to foster fellowship within each school and the larger community. Parents and guardians of EVCS students are automatically members of their campus CA.
