ELMWOOD VILLAGE CHARTER SCHOOLS LOTTERY APPLICATIONS OPEN:
Community Invited to Attend Open Houses
(Buffalo, NY) – Elmwood Village Charter School (EVCS) is pleased to share that lottery applications are now open for the 2027-2028 academic school year. Openings are available to all grade levels at both the Days Park and Hertel Campuses, from kindergarten through 8th grade. Applications are available online at the Avela application portal here.
Families who are interested in applying to EVCS are highly encouraged to attend either or both of the upcoming open houses, which are as follows:
- March 4, 2027 | 8:45 am to 10 am | Days Park Campus, 40 Days Park, Buffalo, NY 14201
- March 11, 2027 | 8:45 am to 10 pm | Hertel Campus, 665 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY 14207
“Following our 20th anniversary last year, the development of new playgrounds at both campuses, and strategic planning underway, it is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the EVCS community,” said Kelly Norlen, admissions coordinator and registrar. “Parents, guardians, and students can look forward to an ever-growing, vibrant school environment that empowers children to become capable, contributing, and connected members and leaders of their community.”
